The Parent Council Annual General Meeting will take place on the 19th September at 19:00 in the school Bistro, in accordance with our constitution.
There are presently four open vacancies. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Parent Council, please make a note of interest by contacting the school, one of the current members, or just come along.

Notes of interest - Office Bearers.
We currently have notes of interest interest from the following people in taking up positions as office bearers.
Cheryl Scott (Chair incumbent)
Arlene Twaddle (Treasurer incumbent)
Elaine Greenshields
Martin Dean (Secretary/VChair incumbent)
I have been a member of the Parent Council for about two years and currently serve as acting Secretary. In this role, I have been working on improving communication between the school community, parents, and carers, which I believe is having a positive impact on discussions at Parent Council meetings. My goal is to make Brannock High School the best it can be, and I am eager to engage with parents, carers, and the school to achieve this. High on my agenda is enabling parents and carers to connect with the school and council, understand where we have shared aims or concerns, and create an environment where everyone feels listened to and empowered to both enjoy and thrive during their time at Brannock.
Vicki Lavelle (current Chair of NSPS PC)
I would like to note my interest in becoming an office bearer on Brannock Parent Council. I am a new parent at Brannock with my child joining S1. I have been a member of a feeder Primary School PC for the last 7 years and during that time have fulfilled all office bearer roles, currently going into my 4th year as Chair. My interest in Parent Council is to ensure that all Parents/carers have a voice within the school community and to ensure that the school is the best it can be for all our children. Over the last 2 years I’ve also been a part of the working group that developed NLC’s new Parental Engagement Strategy and will continue to be part of this group to ensure the implementation of it across the authority.
The AGM will be followed immediatly by our normal Parent Council Meeting, after which the Funding group will continue to meet.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Brannock Parent Council
